As an EntryLevel Rail Design Engineer on our team in Sacramento, CA,you’ll have the opportunity to support thedesign of horizontal and vertical track alignments, so we can shape lastingsolutions for the future.We’ll ask youto draw from your past internship experience to provide review of various shopdrawings and prepare preconstruction cost estimates for light rail/transitprojects.As ateam member supporting various large-scale transportation projects, you’ll alsoperform civil design calculations, sketches, technical comparisons and othertechnical work.
We’ll ask you to reviewdrawings supplied by constrictors, clients, and engineers and then recommendsnecessary changes. Using your recent engineering degree, you’ll research codeissues and work with City, State, and County officials as well as research designoptions and documents findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.

Bachelor of Science in CivilEngineering
Workingknowledge of Word and Excel
Stronganalytical, conceptual, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Abilityto effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management.
Abilityto work and thrive in a team environment.
Abilityto self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
