In 2019, the Ingolstadt School of Management near Munich, Germany, will present the third thematic international Summer School.
During the two-week programme students will gain insights into Firms in Society from the theoretical, empirical and practical perspectives of management science and economics.
The various courses we offer illuminate the topic from a wide range of perspectives:
- The Economics of (Mis)behaviour
- Consumer Psychology for a Better World
- Corporate Governance as Linking Pin between Firms and Society
- Transformative Service Innovations
- Operations Management
- Corporate Tax Avoidance
- Global Supply Chains and Firms in Developing Countries
The keynote on The Economics of (Mis)Behavior will be delivered by Prof. Jen Brown from the prestigious David Eccles School of Business (USA). All courses will be taught by staff who are experts in their fields. Participants can gain up to 10 ECTS for attending the WFI Summer School.
The engagement with regional champions through company visits, management talks and networking opportunities is unique to our Summer School. We have organized visits to and sessions with top-managers from AUDI (automotive), BAUER (engineering, mining, machinery), LEDvance (lighting), Telekom (telecommunication), and brigk (a start-up incubator).
The vibrant social programme includes a tour to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle.
