The curriculum includes fundamentals of finance, accounting, microeconomics, probability, and statistics. In the Finance major, students complete two finance laboratories and a communications requirement that involves a project and presentation reflective of an actual professional assignment. The final component of the major are electives across the specialties of investments, corporate finance, and other advanced financial topics.
Each student must take an additional seven subjects from the approved list of subjects. At least one of the electives must be in the area of Investments, at least one of the electives must be in the area of Corporate Finance, and there must be at least five electives in total between the areas of Investments, Corporate Finance and Topics in Finance.
