Surrey is one of the UK's leading universities for electrical and electronic engineering, with our programmes ranked 4th in the Guardian University Guide 2018 and top 10 in both the Complete University Guide 2018 and The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018.
Our innovative BEng and MEng Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology programmes will allow you to apply theory to real engineering problems and technologies, combining professional engineering skills with scientific research methods.
What you will study
Whether you are interested in graphene, integrated circuits or quantum engineering, our BEng and MEng Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology courses will give you the specialist skills at the interface of electronics and physics required to work on modern nanoscale device fabrication.
After a firm grounding in electrical science and electronics, you will learn about quantum science and nanotechnology, power and energy efficient electronic devices, and production and characterisation of nanomaterials such as graphene, and quantum engineering.
You will also have opportunities to collaborate with academics in our Advanced Technology Institute through project work.
